How to Research a Stock

Now that you’ve flicked the switch to be an investing robot and started to build your process, let’s take a closer look at one of the key cogs in the machine.  How to research a stock.

The idea is to minimise the element of ‘luck’ by the end. You’re going to need to know what sort of investment you are dealing with, whether it is cheap or expensive and the nature (risk) of it. Then you can scribble in a big (Non-Permanent) marker across your research a summary like “Quality large stock”, “Midcap Growth Stock”, “A play on the nickel price”.
